    Pioneer SX-626 Tuner hum

    Recently acquired another SX-626 (1973 version). After checking it out I powered it up, there was a noticable hum in the tuner, nowhere else. After I completely recapped the unit (including the AWE-031-0 tuner assembly) and set the bias to 18mV the hum remains. Any ideas?

    this is part of my sansui collection consisting of ba3000,tu9900,tu717,and au 666.im currently using the au 666 as a preamp to drive the ba 3000 until i find either a ca 2000 or ca 3000.
