Dust wasn't too bad, most of it was directly under the vents. deoxit fixed everything. I also was able to adjust the dial indicator as it was off almost 1 foll number(tuned to 98.1 showing 99.1)very easy to do with this one.
I just gave it a quick listen......
sounds very good, its hooked up to some cv bookshelfswhich probably aren't very efficient, but it drives them to a decent level no problem. If I had a garage this would be perfect for some tunes while wrenchin'....
The FM tuner is amazing

:thmbsp:

.......stereo separation is so good that I had to check the speakers as I thought I had a blown driver or something. I don't know how exactly to describe the sound of it, just very good, warm, yet detailed...if that makes sense.
Along with separating very well, it also is very quite on marginal signals.....oh also it doesn't have a real antenna hooked to it, just a 15-20" piece of scrap wire to the 75ohm input............
I may have to use this as a preamp/tuner for something larger.....simply put if this had 75-120wpc I would sell my 8080db and keep this one and never look back!
