12ax7 Voltage Question For New Mac

I appreciate your response. I may as well go ahead and order the other MC275, and some more tubes. I have also considered the MC352 solid state amp as a way to go. The tube C2200 preamp with the solid state MC352 may be a sweet deal, too.

I can understand the lust for the new MC2301 amps. I use the MC2301 photo as my avatar. That photo is like a rabbit at the dog track. If I run fast enough, maybe I can catch a couple. (You have to run very, very fast to come up with $22K of discretionary income). A pair of the MC2301 amps with the Andra II speakers should be audio nirvana. Don't forget to brag about it here.

I'm a tube guy at heart -- so I can't comment on the MC352 --

All I can say in a few words about dual MC275's was wow. A true improvement as I've mentioned before -- really convinced me how an additional 275 amp in mono can perform. Was an eye & ear opener.:yes:

I know this about any MC2301 purchase -- it's the last amps I'll buy (at least that's what I'm telling the wife).:D
