PM me with your address and i can drop all the resistor's you'll need into an envelope. I also have spare heatsinks, pots, and can drop 2x DN2540 and insulator pads in, maybe Douglas will toss a couple DN3545's your way, then you don't have to make a mouser order at all.:thmbsp:

I think we got saltwater everything he needs, or at least it's on its way. It never hurts to have spare MOSFETs though, just in case the smoke comes out of 'em. You may want some of them for yourself to tinker with too. Supertex P/N DN2540 and DN3545.

yeah, but those things are ~$2 each by the time you get them delivered. Also the N-code is important, though a bit redundant. The TO-220 is N5 and is the biggest that series comes in the DN2540 family. Unfortunately the DN3545 only comes in SMD( N? ), and the TO-92 N3. It is going to be the 'bottom' of the cascode with the bigger DN2540N5 on top taking the heat with a heatsink to assist.

I got a cabinet for mounting all of this stuff prob 15 x 15 x 10

out of my stuff i got the rca jacks, courtesy of old decks, two transformers that come out of some preampthing numbers are: 171 3312 (says that on top stamped in black ink) 2 black wires coming out of them. I also have two rca 866a big honkin tubes, um various wire but none like what he sent me, 150 diff resistors, got the mega pack from radio shcak... some other odds and ends, oh and silver solder, is this ok to use, its like .015 or .15 thick, really like hair almost...

I got this stuff intented on building a 12b4 preamp w/ a 6ca4 rectifier, and i m gonna do it, im having trouble finding a schematic that will work on my budget (cheap)..... any ideas. thanks jay agian!

Before I mail this tube, is there anything else anyone can think of. Looks like you need RCAs, so I'll toss a few in. Anything? Anyone?

I've got you some silver wire, heat shrink, copper ground buss wire, term. strips, jumper wires, solder, Gold RCAs, a couple bread boards, a filament TX for the 12B4s, bridge rect, for fil. supply,and some Fairchild diodes just in case.

What value coupling caps are we using, I've got lots of paper in oils.
 
I put in a small perfboard that should fit the CCS's on them. I also threw in some RCA jacks as well 2x red, 2x black....a volume knob....LEDs if you want an indicator....
