Just started working on this junker I found in a black plastic bag of trash about 2 weeks ago. It's a 1958, Zenith model B835E, AM/FM with two green tweeters. Fortunately, I had another junk Zenith with a good dial pointer, so the broken pointer gets swapped-out.

It's AC/DC and built like the proverbial brick shithouse. Eight tubes in a blonde oak-veneered wooden cabinet. I ordered some fabric stain remover for the grill cloth. That'll be the start of this very lengthy, immensely enjoyable audio component restoration.

Notice the Civil Defense icons on the AM dial. The dot, directly left of 100 on the FM dial was placed on many Zenith radios of the era to mark the company's own Chicago FM station, 99.5

What do the numbers on the bottom of the case designate?
