My family has outgrown our old house, where my listening room/office was a big funky unfinished 1940s cement walled basement. We've upgraded to a different house that's 50% bigger and 50 years newer. And my new listening room/office is 50% smaller. It BARELY fits in this space. I'm bummed that I had to stop using my New Large Advents because there wasn't enough space, but I'm happy with how things sound.

I had to be very particular about speaker stands. To make them fit, the bases had to be smaller than 11" square, and they needed to be at least 31" tall to clear the top of my desk.

I haven't had the opportunity to let my Pioneer stretch its legs, but I have 2 little girls and most of my listening is at night-time. I have yet to push things above half a watt. One of these days I'll have a couple hours with an empty house and can see what 100 WPC RMS can do with my little JBLs.

Here's the inaugural LP playlist for this evening.

Gear list:
Receiver - Pioneer SX-1010
Turntable - Luxman PX-99
Cartridge - Ortophon 10
Speakers - JBL model 62
CD Player- Sony CDP-990
EQ - ADC SS-100SL
Line Conditioner - Panamax MAX 4300
Meters - Realistic APM-100
Clock - Pioneer Digital Timer Model DT-400
