Anyone ever build around this cute little power pentode? I assume it would be similar to the 6BQ5.

Looks interesting, I seem to come across tubes like this one occasionally. I might even have little 9 pin to loctal adaptors that were spec'ed to use these to replace 7C5s (6V6).

I got about 40 6HB6s and 40 6EY6/6EZ5s when I found them on the $1 list at ESRC. The 6HB6 is pin compatible with the 6GK6, the 6EZ5 or 6EY6 is a drop in for 6V6 (though may bias differently...) Both are waiting for winter projects...

There's also the 7EY6, which does seem to sub perfectly for 6V6.
