I have Danley Synergy horns and My Edgarhorn Titans are time aligned.
I concur with the quest, which I met 10 years ago with lots of pairs of TD-1's and then SH-50 Synergy horns (5 total, down to 3).
The SH-50's are what Chris Askew used as a Reference when time aligning his Underground Jubilees with K-402's and TADs (which I had also).
Done deal for me a long time ago, and I agree, the results are worth the trouble.

After reading the first page, it really makes the case for a DSP crossover. When I tuned my LaScalus, I did the frequency response first and thought it couldn’t possibly get any better. The I time aligned them and it really took them to an entirely different level.

Agree totally. After time aligning I started using rePhase to really fix the phase. It was very revealing and satisfying.

The Step Response shows a tiny bit of pre-ringing but it is inaudible.
Using rePhase and FIR filters is very different to how ChrisA achieved flat phase on his Jubes, but it worked for me on my modified K-Horns.

You are in good company. Tom Danley himself told me to do that on my already time aligned, passively, SH-50 synergy horns as the final "icing on the cake" which is also what HE DOES at home for his.
