I can't speak for the other mods but I for one really appreciate a thread like this. I've always tried to be fair when I have to moderate a thread but know in my heart there have been times when I was swayed a bit by one side of an issue or the other. Then there are the folks that for one reason or another you cannot connect and have a dialog with. A thread like this truly makes those times slip away for me. I understand that these hard times may make some folks a little touchier than normal and I'll try and remember that. All I ask is that in your dealing with folks either here or out in the world try and be a little more tolerant in your dealings with folks. Thanks again for your kind words.

I could not have said it better. Please know that the mod staff is a group of very special people. I am honored to be numbered among those I just mentioned (me not being special...well you know what I mean). With no exceptions, we are here because you folks, and the community you form, are so valuable to us. It might not seem like it sometimes, but every one of you adds something special and we appreciate you, each of you. Just keep on being who you are (within reason, of course), and we will continue to keep this place nice for you to hang out in.
