ADS Atelier amps/tuners

anyone here have any experience with or know anything about these amps/tuners/receivers/cd players? i traded for a A-2 and T-2 and wondered what i have

I had the CD player and thought it sounded pretty good. But the laser died. I believe they were a well built series of products, and certainly look nice.

Very nice gear. Marketed in Europe under the Braun name brand.

The tuner was fairly well received by the US audio press, and the matching drawer-load cassette/CD player/integrated are some of the neatest 80s gear out there!

Not life-changing gear, but very solid, and quite nice sounding.

I'd phrase that slightly differently:"Marketed in the US under the ADS name brand"

If it's built well and sounds good like their speaker line---it has to be good, those speakers are awsumb sounding. the bird

Good point...it's not like the folks at ADS had much to do with the design and manufacture of this gear!

Gotta T-2 I worked on and have used for some time now. Excellent tuner! Every bit as good as the Pioneer tx9800 level and better sound outta the box.
