Heya Folks!

I am searching for rack mountable amp to power my Energy 22 reference speakers.
Today I have found the t.amp S-100 MK II

It's specs are:
  • 2x 100 W at 4 ohms
  • 2x 65 W at 8 ohms
  • Balanced inputs with XLR and jack
  • Bridge mode possible
  • Speaker Twist and binding posts for speaker out
  • All protective circuits including soft-start
  • Input level switchable from -0 to +4 dB
  • Damping factor > 150
  • Without fan
  • Input sensitivity switchable from 0.775 V (RMS) to 1.4 V RMS, or to 26 dB gain
  • 1 RU, 33 cm deep
  • Slew rate: 35 V/µs
  • Weight: 7.5 kg
Energy Brochure says 20 Watts minimum - 200 Watts maximum with 8 ohms nominal Impedance to power them.

If my math is correct, I am good to go, right?

Keep on listening!

Just looking at specs, you should be fine. But amps don't all sound the same, and they don't all handle the complex load that speakers present equally well, so it is hard to tell how pleased you will be without actually trying it. And it's a power amp - I assume you have a preamp.

Worry less, enjoy more. Buy a well built amplifier with a beefy power supply and output section, then play music. This qualifies. If you are playing loud and it sounds bad, turn it down. With this understood, you can run amplifiers as big as you want.
Sounds like you found a good one.
