AK music trivia game

nope, not as far as I know, would'a been a bit weird, Bananarama being the ultimate 80's manufactured girly pop act, Nirvana the kings of early 90's angst and grunge

There is another band called Nirvana from the UK that preceeded the one from Washington. I heard that one on the radio.

Yeah and boy were they terrible. Back in the 80s I had read about Seattle's Nirvana and went seeking them out. I found a Nirvana record at Rasputin's in Berkeley, took it home and played it and realized that there was no way possible that this was the band I read about...:)

"Bananarama" was an offshoot (girlfriends) of "Fun Boy 3" which came from the ruins of "The Specials."

I'm incapable of asking a question - I just lecture.

OK, this is a 2-part question:

1) Name the 4 girls who sang with Marvin Gaye.

2) In ascending order, earliest to last.

Ooo, I know I know! But since I will not want to follow it up with having to ask a question, I'll leave to others.

Asking the question is the easy part. Google one of your favorite bands and read about them, find an interesting fact and turn it into a question.

I have been learning lots of stuff here, most of which I will forget but still entertaining.

Its been 2 days with no answer, so here is a new one

Which guitarist turned down the Rolling Stones after Brian Jones died, and later hung himself in a Virginia jail?

Anyone can feel free to post a question if the previous one isn't answered in a day, we need everyone to moderate this thread to keep it going.

Thanks

O.K, What do Keith Moon, Ritchie Blackmore, Noel Redding, Matthew Fisher, Jimmy Page, and John Bonham all have in common (aside from the obvious)?

Bingo! they all were at some point members of Screaming Lord Sutch's band. You've suprised me by answering that so fast, since Lord Sutch is not really well-known outside of the UK. You have the honor of posting the next question.
