Thread 'Altec Lansing 845B crossover help'
https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/altec-lansing-845b-crossover-help.1035446/

I have rebuilt an Altec Lansing 845B “The Verde” speaker that I have decided to finally build the crossover for. I have photos of the original crossover schematic (attached) but a few questions… is it an L-Pad or a potentiometer? Should I use an active crossover and bi-amp? Is there a better crossover design for these two drivers?

Why not just Clean the L-pad, and just Recap with Same value Poly caps.
I bet they will sound better.

I found that the L Pad was damaged beyond repair when opened them up. I also don’t have any of the original crossover components, I probably threw them away when I moved as they didn’t measure accurately anymore.

Do these indeed use an LPad? Would any LPad do or do I have to find a 25-Ohm one?

So you have the Spec's for the capacitors, so you can just get them from Parts express, and I see you still have the inductors.
I'm not sure if you can use a replacement 8 Ohm L-pad from PE.
Ask them when ordering the Poly caps. They are very helpful and know what will work.
The Audyn Red ones are cheap and nice sounding, and last longer than you will.
The only reason for the POTS OR L-pads is to match the more efficient Tweeter to the Woofer,
and to adjust for your sound preference.
I also see a 10 Ohm Resister before the 25 Ohm Pot before the Tweeter.
Tell the person at PE about that Resister as well.
