Altec 805's

Hi Altec fans!

Has anyone ever heard of these?
Are they worth anything?
There's a pair near by for sale. I was thinking of taking a look when I get back in to town. :scratch2:

OK -- I'll be the killjoy. These are not considered real Altecs by the cognoscenti, as they were designed and manufactured after the Sparkomatic takeover. The only "real" Altec 805 I am familiar with is the 500 cycle 8 cell ~45 x 90 degree multi-cell that came in both tar filled and Aquaplas coated versions.
