AM Tuner

Does anyone use a separate AM tuner? I've been using a Miller 565 for decades. It's basically a crystal set but has reliability and it does need an external antenna (easiest way to go). Highly sensitive during the day; and, at night when the clear channel stations are full power and everyone else is operating at reduced power you can DX across the country.

I might be too old school on this one; and, I'll admit unlike when I first built this unit there is little music left on AM.

have fun, Swamp Daddy

Interested in the answers. I recently purchased a Decware Superzen and would love to listen to some late night AM through it. Tuners just haven't kept pace in the "small form factor" revolution.
