Amp buzzing/ringing issue

Hello!

So the other day I was flipping over a record and noticed a faint ringing noise. It was coming from my left channel tweeter. Along with a low buzzing sound coming from all the speakers in my left channel (the buzzing also comes through the left channel in my headphones). Now, the buzz is always there but the ringing comes and goes and is really what I notice most. When it’s not ringing I can detect the occasional *tink-tink* sound. Similar to an old baseboard heater heating up. I kept the speakers in place and swapped the left and right channels on the back of the amp and the buzzing/ringing then came from the right speaker. Leaving me to believe it’s an issue with the left channel. The amp is a Rogue Audio Sphinx V3. It has a tube phono preamp. Could this be a tube issue? Any insights are appreciated.

Thank you!

Yeah, that could definitely be a tube. Tubes are very prone to microphonics. It shouldn't be a constant thing though. More like something you hear if you bump the amp firmly or flick a tube, and it should decay quickly.
