Hi all, first post here and it's a question :scratch2:

I have a choice of 5 amps all used and going for roughly the same price:
Onkyo TX-SR313
Sansui AU-V7000
Pioneer VSX-517, VSX-7000
Yamaha RX-V420

Which one would you recommend for a starter?

I don't have speakers but i'll get a nice floor-standing pair soon to match the amp I acquire. I have a Pioneer PL-450 TT though I mostly listen to CD's so it'll mostly be used with a CD player and an iPod via AUX.

Your input is really appreciated.

I agree if its music your listening to the sanui or the onkyo leaning heavier to the sansui. For surround sound I'm not fond of any of them. Just my humble opinion
