HOORAY !...ELECTRICITY !
Has anyone successfully used any of these 3 passive switch boxes ?
Technolink Tec/Beresford TC-7240
Rolls SS32
Sescom Ses-Audio-AB
Interested in if you can cable a cd-player "audio-output" into box and then run cables out of box to multiple amps - either headphone or loudspeaker amps, playing 1 amp at a time with leaving other amp(s) powered off ?
Toggle switch allows 1 output to play at a time.
7240 & sescom have 2 outputs and SS32 has 3 outputs.
The sescom & SS32 can be wired in reverse also for multi-inputs and 1 output if someone's purpose, and don't think I want to use a "loudspeaker selector box" wired in reverse (ins/outs). But since my purpose is going source to amps, is there no need for protection circuitry ?
The 7240 allows front panel switching, the other two boxes are accessed on cables.
7240 allows additional inputs, SS32 also adds 1/8" jacks.
Do any of these 3 boxes add audible noise or hum ?
