I have a pair of ESS AMT1A bookshelf speakers. Currently I have them sitting on top of some Bose 901's that are on the floor. They sound okay like that, but does anyone know what a good height and tilt back angle would make these sound better?
When they are on the floor the bass seems deeper, but I have to sit on the floor to get the AMT's at ear ear level. I was thinking of using some 3/4 plywood as a base with 2x4 risers.
