Any Jorma Fans?

Hot Tuna is one of my favorite bands. Jefferson Airplane died when Jorma & Jack left.

I remember at one of the Tuna concerts, (evening show) ,upon leaving the theater, the sun was up. The theater was almost empty by the time they finished. Very memorable show. (I think):confused:

I must have been to 50 or so shows over the years. Just ran after tickets two weeks ago as a matter of fact.(for Jorma)

Thanks for starting this thread. It reminded me that I had not played Blue Country Heart in quite some time. For those who may be interested, Blue Country Heart was released as a multi-channel SACD. The surround is not gimmicky, it just provides a nice ambience. Look for: Columbia CS86394 if you want the SACD. It is not a hybrid. i.e. The SACD will only play on a SACD player.
 
Big Tuna fan. I've had solo Jorma on my list for quite a while. This thread reminded me. I just picked up Barbecue King on eBay.
Thoughts on BBQ King?
 
Jorma went to Antioch? Wow, I grew up in Yellow Springs and didn't know that. I knew Hendrix visited but didn't perform. My cousin has a picture of a huge group of students sitting all around him in North Hall. Antioch culture was something else. Greg Dewey from YS and now back in YS, drummer in Mad River and later CJ Fish teamed with Marty Balin in Grootna, so Jorma no doubt kept in touch.
BTW Antioch almost closed the Yellow Springs campus, but it has been saved. Culture probably contributed more than anything else.
