Anybody recognize these 15" woofers with square magnets?

Any clues or info on whose these might be? I never saw square magnet housings before. Anything worthwhile?

Yeah, Eminence 32nd week of 1982. Worthwhile depends on what you want to do with them.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm considering these as the woofs for my DIY wall mount speakers in some large, unusual triangular EV cabs I recently acquired. Thinking of mating them up with a set of horns, then mounting them up in the corners of my large living room. Pics of the cabs are below.

The square "wendy's burger" magnets were common to CTS and Eminence drivers. Used to see lots of them hanging on hooks in the local electronics supply houses, in catalogs (B-A, McGee) in Klipsch speakers, Magnavox consoles and Ampeg bass cabs.

You'd need the parameters on those drivers to say for sure what they will do in those cabs, but I'd say you are in the right ballpark. Wouldn't hurt to just try them and see what your ears think.

If you can get hold of a Dayton WT3 woofer tester you can get fairly accurate parameters from your woofers.

Looks like a cutout for a T35, especially if it's an EV cabinet.

Those are indeed weird cabinets. I have a feeling they may be a bit small though, so it's worth getting the parameters and making sure they work before putting any serious effort into them as Chad said. Or just have a listen if the cabs don't need any modification for them to fit...
