I own a pair of speakers said to be from Elf Audio, with a model name of the Super Cube.
In searching the web, I have few references to them. Most of them to this same set of speakers. Some guy was selling them on Audiogon and on a couple of other boards. A guy here in Wisconsin bought them. He advertised them on CL and I bought them from him. I can find no other references to these speakers and the only other references are to some car audio equipment out of Charlotte, NC and this one guy operating out of Euclid, OH (who I think may the person who built these): http://www.manta.com/c/mry69cv/elf-audio
There is no brand name on the speaker, there are serial numbers on the back. Nothing else.
Cabinets look DIY, simple cubes 9.5" all dimensions. Barely finished pine wood. Drivers are attached with Torx screws, most DIY don't bother to do that.
I got them for a very reasonable price and they do have real Fostex FE126E banana pulp drivers.
Pictures available here, a 3 year old post where the first owner was attempting to sell them.
