I am a bit concerned, I have sent emails and called on the phone with no response, he is working on a Tascam R2R for me that he said was shipping a few weeks ago and has not shipped, it is not like him to not do something he said he is going to do. I know that he is in the Houston area if anyone lives close by there.

Last update on his site was 3-15-2006.

Hate to add to the grim forecasts, but I emailed him with a question about 2 months ago and never received an answer. Hope he is ok. I like reading his posts. Nice guy and very knowlegable.
 
Something must be wrong. About a year ago I had a problem with a Pioneer 1020L RTR. He was very helpful through his emails. Most time he answered them within hours[sometimes minutes], if not, the next day. I hope all is well. But....it don`t seem to be.

Havent heard from him either. He usually answers posts ASAP. Hope he is OK. Usually we hear from him.. Hope to heard from him soon. :yes: Eric
 
I hope someone in the Houston, TX area can check up on Rolf. He was helping me about a week before his last post in getting a S/M for a Sony TC-640. At the time he mentioned to me that he wasn't feeling very good and had the flu over the weekend. But he managed to get the manual delivered. I sure hope its nothing serious and that he is ok.

Yea, I hope that he's OK too... :worried: I emailed him a quick question in mid April, and he responded about a week later. He appollogised for taking so long to get back to me and said that he had been super busy. That was the last I have heard from him.
 
I called him a while back, maybe a month ago. He was having computer problems, and was busy overseeing construction at his house.
