Anyone in WNY that could faderlube Sony receiver?

I gave my son my Sony 6065. New power caps and was working great last I used it ~ 8 years ago.

One channel not working. Had him work knobs/switches but no luck. Likely needs a good faderlube bath.

I’m in FL now and won’t be able to travel for a while.

Anyone in WNY (son is in Rochester) who could take a look at it for him?

You could refer him to the deoxit thread above & he could maybe DIY it & learn something- or not, if not screwdriver-trained yet. Just an idea...

Whenever I find one in similar condition, I check all the other outputs, including headphones. I then work the function selector switch like crazy to hear if there's any scratching or popping, I've fixed a ton of units with just this switch. People will leave it on a setting, it will sit for years and then the other settings or channels will have issues.
