the tube is a telefunken FAF 801
has the mesh and getter all around and on top of the tube
i don't see a diamond mark but see a number 2 on bottom
other numbers are 30074
the tube was pulled from a grundig console
anyone with info on this tube and is it rare ?

Probably EAF801. A radio or tuner tube - don't know if there's a US equivalent. $10 for a new one at Antique Electronic supply...
