Anyone think this classic Numark deck is worth it?

I'm considering on going after this unit I saw on eBay. Seeing how Numark decks today are just made in China or Taiwan by Hanpin. I never knew that 80's Numark turntables where made in Japan and actually look like quality made units. I never heard of the 80's TT1600. I know they have one today but its a cheap plastic dj turntable.

Anyone had any experience with this TT-1600???

The fact that it still works after 25+ years speaks to the quality of construction, but the name Numark has never been associated with audiophile products, so I wonder if it is worthy of consideration as a home deck. The opening price is certainly reasonable.

Major difference with this Numark is it being MADE IN JAPAN and not by Hanpin/China. I'd comfortably recommend you purchase it as a home deck and with a cartridge upgrade it should sound/perform quite close to an authentic Technics SL-1200Mk2. Big bonus is to get the turntable with the original box, packing material and double boxed on top of that. Good luck!
