Could be a decent deal, but I'm not too sure.

As to the speakers, they appear to be the 2-ways and the smallest of the series that includes the APM-66ES at the top. You can find some pictures of the APM-22ES here and some information on the 66es (some of which should transcribe to the 22ES) at The Vintage Knob.

APM-22ES

Actually I think that line went up to the APM-77(W) with and/or without the ES moniker (or maybe the 77s along with the 33 and 55 were from a different series than the even number models - it's so hard to find info on these now). There would be a pair in 77W my system now if they hadn't gotten destroyed in a car accident on the way to the UPS store (or so the seller claimed).

The 22ES are supposed to be pretty nice for a smallish 2 way but they have a reputation for blowing the tweeters. I've seen conflicting information about different crossovers in different regions, or different build dates, but at least some (or maybe all) of them cross the tweeter over fairly low which can lead to problems. Make sure the tweeters are working on these before you buy them, there are no replacements available from Sony. And just to be safe you probably don't want to crank them up too loud.
