AR-3's?

Hard to say. The poster had dimensions up yesterday, close to AR-3 dimensions, and said they were selling for $800 on ebay. Why not just post a picture of the whole thing, and give a model #?

I think the only AR's that would sell for $800 on eBay would be AR3's. They aren't large bookshelf speakers though, but large floorstanders.
It is confusing that's for sure.

I thought that the AR3's where considered bookshelf speakers when they where new? I could be way off. I saw the add as well. $400 is to much for me to even consider. Besides, I already have ar3a's, ar2zx's and ar4xa's. Nice speakers.:yes:

The 3's are definitely bookshelf speakers, but you need a strong bookshelf. Placing them on the floor will muddy up the sound. They are among my favorite speakers of all time. I'm leery of a speaker picture that only shows a grill and AR logo without the speaker, the seller should supply better info.
