AR Baby Advents......??

This is the first that I have heard of these AR's.... Must be vintage or sumthin' .....on a more serious note, comments on the AR 2..I'm just in the last 4-5 month's re-discovering some these older speakers so please bear with ingnorance.

Your confusion is justified, that auction is messed up. The Advent Baby II, as pictured, was a speaker model put out by ...(drum roll) ... Advent. Well, Advent after being bought out by Jensen, I think it was. I had a pair of Advent Babies (Model 1002) that had no mention what-so-ever of AR on them anywhere. So, the seller is likely very confused or lying through his teeth to bump up the price.

Well, better to be a smart ass than a dumb ass. Yep, that randomly obtained AR logo off the net really did much to set apart the auction. I'm sure that's what upped the bid to a while $0.99.

AR, Jensen and Advent, among others are now owned by the same company and some models are already available under both AR and Advent names such as the "powered partner" speakers etc. I'm sure that there are others too, that one comes to mind.

Unless the speakers are bastards...AR woofers and ADVENT tweeters in ADVENT cabinets. I love the lack of info on that auction...it takes all kinds! Notice the private feedback? Hmmmm..is there a white van in the neighborhood?

Whoa!!!! I drive a white van. Well, it's my wifes van, and I only pick up speakers. I do not sell them out of the back, or sides.
