Are The Electronics In The Lid Of This Console ??

Wow! I was gonna say spring-loaded popup, but there's a TT underneath so no way. Must be. Which suggests lightweight solid state.

Hiya,

I know its sand based electronics but that is just so quirky and cool. That cab screams Barzilay.

If I was closer I might consider it.

That is very slick looking! Now I wonder if, perhaps, there is a ribbon-type cable connecting the controls in the lid to the actual meat inside the cabinet. :scratch2:

And yes, I'd agree that it is soiled state. And yes, if it were close, I'd hit it.

Love that cabinet. Electronics look quite interesting. At a minimum, I'd bet the amp is down "below decks". probably most of the rest of it is too, and what you see on the lid is just the controls, likely connected with an umbilical of some fashion. 60s solid state was not exactly incredibly compact. Remember, this is pre-IC discreet component stuff.
