Arm lift for AR XA

Looking for recommendations and AK experience with adding an arm lift to a stock XA. I didn’t find much in a search so thought I would post the question. A friend is looking to add an after market lift, and I am not sure what is out there, or what you would recommend as cost-effective and cosmetically acceptable options. Thanks.

I got a good deal on a Little Fwend which has a magnetic base making it very easy to work with on an AR steel top plate. Ones with sticky tape are a bit harder to get positioned, but still not hard.

I've used several others but it's the best yet for an end of record type. Expensive though.

Looked it up, thanks for mentioning it.

As you said, spendy, but something to keep an eye out for used to install on my AR XB.

He is more looking for a cueing lift. I thought of the Little Fwend, but the end of album lift is not the primary thing. Thanks
The lift is readily available on EBay, as is the aluminum 45rpm adapter. The adapter I used has a hollow side and a smooth, solid side to it. That feature is helpful in fine tuning the height because it isn’t adjustable. I put the hollow side down for maximum height. A drop of superglue will secure the lift to the adapter. I glued a 1” rubber washer to the bottom and double sided tape secured that to the plinth. It works very well.

Thank you. That is a good look that in my opinion matches the simplicity of the XA.

My answer for the arm lift is the same. Look at the Audio Technica - used older solution. It should do the arm lift job very well.

New and reasonable: VPI cueing lever. Not super expensive. Worth taking a look.
