I'm using it as my primary. I LOVE it. I'm using with stylus transplanted from a AT-440mla.
It will sound a bit dull, if the capacitance is high. I know that I haven't gotten all that this cart has to offer. IMO, this cartridge does colors like none I've heard. This cartridge will not make all recordings sound great or the same!
