I'm running a audio technica AT 92 E cartridge on my Technics SL QD 33
turntable , I mainly listen to 60s to late 70s rock and roll and it seems to
have a " tinny" sound to it , is there a different cartridge available that would
have a more " full " - " warmer or rich " sound to it ? really don't know
the proper words on how to describe the tones ...

Just to verify, you do have it plugged into a MM (moving magnet) phono input on your amplifier or phono preamplifier? Without the proper equalization for phono cartridges, you can get distorted sound.

An at92e shouldn't sound tinny. Maybe the stylus suspension has hardened. There are many inexpensive stylus that will work with that cart. Pfanstiehl stylus for AT carts are good and inexpensive. The EVG nude is very good and about the same cost as a new AT stylus.

I really don't know what MM phono input is , I'm not a tech. by any stretch of the imagination ...., what I'm running
is ; Macki 802 - VLZ3 mixer , BBE FJB 200X phono pre-amp ,Technics SL - QD 33 turntable with AT 92 E cart. and
Harbinger Vari Series loud speakers , mainly listen to 60s to late 70s rock and roll , / country rock type of music
from low level to extremely high volume just short of distortion / damage to the speakers

Not sure if your saying that the Stylus ( needle ? ) can be swapped out , I thought that the cartridge is a one piece construction

Yes, that's an MM phono preamp.
I assume you are using the 1/4" output of the preamp to go into one of the channels of the mixer?
Does it sound just as tinny through headphones?
Is the stylus (needle) clean?

RCA type plugs ( left / right ) and ground wire from the turntable to the pre-amp and 1/4 plug
out of pre-amp to two ( left /right ) 1/4 plugs into the mixer . I don't have headphones so I don't
know about that , always clean the stylus and album before first play and when turned over

So you are using Channels 3&4?
Did you disengage the low cut?
Is your EQ flat on the mixer and speakers?
Do other sources sound better?

This is a attempt to upload some pictures of my mixer

I've tried a full range of mixes of the EQ controls on the mixer and speakers to dial in the sound I'm looking for ( over a period of a few years ) the sound is ok but I was hoping to make it better

Other sources: cd player, mp3s, any other component or instrument that you play through the mixer.
