I need a pair of 3636 autoformers for an upcoming project to make a switch for my 20:20 three-way horns that allows me to switch between my Active DSP, Tri-amped 2 channel set up and my AVR. I've got my switch boxes made, I just need to build a pair of passive networks for inside, so with a flip of switches, it goes from active to passive networks. Who sells them besides Crites? Nothing against them, they're wonderful people, I'd just like to be aware of other options before I ultimately purchase.

I'd recommend trying an all 6dB network too. I recently switched from my previous 12/12/18dB network that I listened to for a few years and the 6/6/6dB network sounds better to me at low to moderate listening levels.

The phase between all the drivers is much more manageable with the 6dB slopes. With your wideband drivers, you should be able to get away with 6dB slopes. Of course, the sound is another matter. Offsetting the tweeters back to match the midrange voice coil also helped "time align" the tweeters and how they blended in with the midrange driver.

I've done some 6dB filters with my DSP to simulate the AA network and frankly, it sounded awful. I've built a variant already that is in my mini horn and tried it in one of the 20:20 and it works well. The schematic above adds a 4500X circuit to tame the rising rate of the tweeter. I'll be using it for my Pioneer AVR for watching movies and shows, a general time & phase alignment from the MCACC will suffice, rather than a specific alignment from the crossover network. At the very least, it will be better than the lag with 2-channels combined with the 7.0.2 atmos scheme I'm currently running.
 
I don't know how accurately the DSP will emulate a passive crossover, but I was very surprised by how well it sounded versus the steeper slope I had become accustomed to.

Just passing on what I heard in my system.

Edit: I also relied heavily on REW not so much calculating passive parts to get the crossover regions where I wanted/needed them for the smoothest frequency response and sound quality. I also moved my woofer to midrange crossover frequency closer to 500Hz from 400Hz (or so) and that made a difference. The Celestion FTR woofer has much more midrange capability than the K-33E and this helps extend out the midrange a bit more toward 500Hz and still sounds good.

I found that the D2200Ph loses directivity with that horn around 450Hz, so that checks out. I’m also crossing at 500 and 4500Hz. I think that length makes it a 500Hz horn. I had a longer horn from ZXPC, they sent me the wrong one, then ghosted me, but I never got a chance to test them.
