Autographed 13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere – Story – Help Request

Finding Roky stuff is like finding Screamin' Jay stuff, nearly impossible. I'd say, sell one keep the autographed version.

The problem is if I were to decide to sell one it would be a delima as to which. Keep the signed one for the collectibility or sell it since it’s got a pretty decent value and the vinyl isn’t in that great a condition. I think that delima has kept me from selling either. I would love to frame the signed copy but I really don’t have a good place to hang it. Too much other stuff already on the walls.

There's a Zen quality to "Slip Inside This House." At times, I'm absolutely certain what the song is about and every word speaks to me. At other times, "Slip Inside This House" is a total mystery.

There's a lot of biblical imagery in that song.

"one eyed men aren't really reigning they just march in place until [politicians and those that are slaves to the mark of the beast]
...two eyed men with mystery training finally feel the power due [the marriage supper of the lamb/slaughter of all of God's enemies especially the so-called "illuminated ones"]
...three eyed men are not complaining they can yo-yo where they will.... [the repentant family of God that are preserved during the time of Jacob's trouble].

That's a very interesting and poetic way of describing these events, if that indeed was his intention. Seems to me as a whole though he was cobbling together different religious ideas to express something only known to him.

I have most, if not all, of Roky's post-13thFE material. Gotta say I still prefer the 13th Floor Elevator material, especially the debut and Easter Everywhere LPs. Lotta timeless numbers, Psych or otherwise, included on those first two releases. But a lotta later Roky is better -- IMO -- than Bull Of The Woods, 13thFE's swansong LP.

I'm still a bit stunned by the news of Patrick's death. He's probably buried in Sweden, I feel the need to drive north and visit his grave assuming I can learn where he's interred.

Maybe Ron (Moore) knows?

The people at Waxidermy would probably know. He passed away a couple of years ago from what I recall.

One of the best albums ever by anyone and "Slip Inside This House" IS, imo the best song ever recorded by anyone.
