Beogram 1602/1600 Dust Cover Assembly

I have a vintage Bang & Olufson Beogram 1602, or more commonly known outside the USA as the 1600..there is a henge spring that attaches to the back of the dust cover, and I cannot figure out how it attaches. I've found little to no info on the web about this, and the owners manual is of no help. Help anyone?

Wish I could help you on this. I just pulled out my 1602 today, and I have broken hinges and a missing spring for the cover. I'd like to find some replacements.
