Best Denon integrated amplifier

I have a DENON PMA-790 integrated amplifier, and, considering what I heard from them by now, I think it's the best INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER from them (I repeat, INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER), in terms of sound. If you know a better one, please tell me, because I want to buy a second one.

Or if you know a better VINTAGE amplifier, please tell me.

Not sure if there's a better unit than PMA-790 (vintage), probably not.

The bigger PMA-970 was TOTL at that time...

I have never had the pleasure to listen to a 790, but I enjoy my PMA-770 so much I wouldn't challenge your statement.

No the Denon PMA-790 is probably their best vintage integrated, the earlier PMA-970 could perhaps compete with it in some areas. I´ve had them both.
 
I am guessing my PMA-750 was a step down from the 790 so I certainly can appreciate everyone's thoughts on the 790. I just started using the 750 with my ADS L400's and it is a great combo.

Two steps. Inbetween was the PMA-770. But its a much bigger jump between 770 and 790 than 750 and 770.
The 750 and 770 was also a bit earlier in production and was replaced by the 757 and 777. All of these are great under rated amplifiers.
 
I'm late to the conversation, but my refurbished PMA-750 is so fine I can only imagine what the higher quality Denon integrated amps sound like!
 
Denon PMA-355UK

I have just purchased a Denon PMA-355UK and the sound is so amazing, i just wish i had purchased one years ago.

Most likely exactly the same. Amplifiers are rarely different, especially when coming from the same time period and manufacturer. Shared circuitry isn't uncommon, and even with different circuits - a correctly designed amplifier won't sound any different from another.
