Best Inexpensive turntable?

Price reduced from $599 to $90? Seems too good to be true.
Yeah, and that generally holds true - meaning if it seems to good to be true it probably is. The original price for what is depicted in that listing seems too low by at least a factor of 10. The discounted price of $90 wouldn't even cover shipping. The listed weight is over 75 lbs.

One of the many reasons I don't facebook.
My wife attempted to buy something off the Facebook Marketplace, but it turned out to be a scam site masquerading as a legitimate vender (Macy's).. when she sent the PayPal payment it flipped to some company China. PayPal ended up returning her $99

I saw these on FB once before, maybe a couple years ago. Back then there were many models discounted unbelievably. I believe it's safe to assume it's a scam. Certainly after Drumaniac posted a site with the real price. I'll admit it's damned tempting.

Best cheap current table in my view is the Audio Technica AT-120xusb. About $230, shipped, with an AT-vm95e cartridge. Copy of the Technics SL-1200 series, not as durable but very good for the money. A worthy upgrade is the 95 series microline stylus that fits the shipped cartridge. I like the idea of the U-Turn tables but in my view the AT table is a less-futzy design, has a cue lever, etc. With the price this low, these scam tables are not worth looking at IMO.

Do prospective buyers get a free tube of KY jelly with each order? Roll up your sleeves and bend over. What the buyer REALLY gets is a picture of the Project turntable for their $99.
