Bias Potentiometer replacement question??

Hi all,

I would like to change out the 10K pots in my amp, now I'm using a pair
of nice Bourns blue type, so my question is does in matter how they go in?.
there is three numbers on the pot from left to right it say's 3---2---1, so is
it right to have the #2 pin in the center hole and 3 and 1 on either side for
both. Here's a picture of the boards in the amp.

The wiper needs to go in the wiper hole. Other than that it doesn't matter. You do want to have a style of pot that lets you get the adjustment tool on it from some reasonable position.
