Boston a100s

I have a chance to grab a pair of Boston a100s (looks like a later generation) for $30, the only thing is they need to be refoamed. Everything else is in good condition apparently. Should I jump on it?

great deal, nice speaker. They sound great. I have 2 pairs and actually purchased 2 pairs of Dynaco A-40xl speakers at the same time. I found that I could not tell the difference between the different speakers. $30 is half of what I paid. Also there are particular types of surrounds that should be used on the BA100. jump on this and fast.

Yep. I hit a set last week for $37.50 with very nice cosmetics. They're an easy speaker to listen to and would be an improvement over probably what 80% of the world listens to these days. They were BAs answer to the Large Advent.
