If you've never had one of these Yammies before....you're in for a REAL NICE SURPRISE. The winning bidder on the CR-3020 is going to be especially happy. It's one of the best-built of the vintage Monsters. The CR-1020 is no slacker either. I've got a CR-2020 and my Tech tells me that series was Yamaha's best. My heartiest congratulations to the WINNERS!!!!

Once you've got a taste of this gear, you'll know why I have such strong opinions about spending good money for QAULITY gear.

Oh...I too have a CR 2020 that although it needs a bit of work and likely a tuner realignment it sounds so very sweet (DC offset is good and idling current too--clean on the inside!). I had a CR-620 in college and then sold it for a CA-810 (the meters!). Yes, indeed the winning bidder for the 3020 will have a very nice machine once a few things are fixed. I noticed that the bidder has been buying up other vintage monsters...quite a collection it will be. I wonder if he/she is an AKer? IT would be nice to see the "stack". Congrats to Urizen on the 1020!--you will not be disappointed if it arrives AOK!
 
The only CR-n20 stack I know of is my friend in RI, his was the first 3020 I ever worked on. It all started because he saw my ME file on eBay (since removed) and asked if I could 'save' his CR-2020. I did and since then at least one of every CR-n20 has come through here on its way to RI. It is the local Yamaha museum.
