C22 restoration

This is a restoration that we just finished and now the unit is heading to one of our fellow AK people! This unit needed the power supply repaired as well as numerous audio section components. To finish it off, we replaced all of the rca jacks on the back with gold rca jacks and made sure that it looked as if it just rolled off of the final production department at McIntosh! This is just one example of repairs and restorations that our tech do daily. We keep all repair as original as we can in order to retain the value of these units. This project really looks great and I thought I would share it with fellow AKr's

I can't help wondering how a nice restored original C22 would sound compared to my new C22 Anniversary edition. :scratch2:

There are certainly some fine restorers out there. Nice cap alignment and clean installations. I always like see other's work. Thanks for sharing, Ryan, and please send my kudos to the bench guy(s) there for great work.
