Can anyone help to find a Pioneer PL-41 counterweight or build one from scratch?

I found a beautiful PL-41 with a missing counterweight. I can't find a replacement anywhere online. Does anyone know where I could find one or how to build one from scratch?

Can you find the specs and a good picture of the correct counter weight? I have a pioneer counter weight in the parts box but no idea what model it came from.

I have one that fits a Pioneer PL-A35, if anybody knows if it will fit. It is chrome, black dial with white numbers.

it's hard to tell from the pic if the one for the S30 will work but perhaps worth a try? i've also had luck contacting these folks for items not posted on their site:

I too have a nice pl41. That pl35 counterweight is different from the the one on my pl41. The hole looks bigger on the pl35 counterweight. It's tough to be sure when working off a photo though.

Washers stacked together. When you have the correct number, glue together with superglue. Fix in proper place with modeling clay. You will need a cheap digital scale to set tracking force.

Hey Otodus,
I have what you need and an extra head shell that is really nice. You can have the counterweight for cost of shipping. If you want the head shell also, just pm me. Pics included :D

If Otodus doesn't want the headshell I'd be glad to purchase it.

Thanks Jim, you will be first in line if he doesn't want it. Here's a pic of my pl-41

Pootybear, yours looks flawless. My PL41 has a couple of small dings in the wood. I am using several headshells with my PL41, including the original. I wouldn't mind having another original headshell. Mine ran a bit fast until I purchased the right belt from LP Gear. Here's a pic of my PL41.

Your table looks awesome! I just got another platter on "the bay" and took it to a machine shop to remove the ring in the middle so I can use any normal mat. Can't wait to get it back.
