These are the types of speakers that came in inexpensive package systems along with a matching receiver back in the 1960's and 70's that were sold through department stores and other general merchandise outlets. Behind those plastic dispersion plates you will find simple inexpensive cone tweeters along with a matching inexpensive woofer driver. These types of systems did not even approach a mid-fi level of sound quality but were great for background music.

Hard to get a feel for scale here. That horn looks just like the Mach One midrange. Panasonic did make some quality speakers with real horn drivers back in the day, like the SB-400:
And the SB-660:
And several more. So they MAY be junk if they are little and light, but don't write off Panasonic. They did make some beefy stuff. If it's a CL ad or something, ask for a model number or dimensions.

These are earlier, mid 60's. Cheap plastic all-in-ones hadn't quite hit the scene yet.

Focus on the grill badge, it says "National" with the lightning bolt icon. Same badge was used on some portable radios, that will give you scale.
Pretty uncommon to find those National only badges, they usually include Panasonic, hyphenated.

never seen anything like these. Looked them up, look like real speakers...

I've seen similar 3 way crossover plates. It always confuses me.
But I'm easily confused.

Just allows you to tap into the separate drivers individually. Opens up a lot of options for amplification. Like a nice SET tube amp for the top end and a solid highly damped SS amp for the bass driver. etc.
