can i connect Maverick DAC to Sansui 4000?

I have a Maverick Audio TubeMagic D1 Plus DAC and Sansui 4000. According to Mavericks website," with up to 600 ohm impedance and 1000mW power output, this DAC has enough power to drive any headphone on the planet."

Is it safe to connect this to my Sansui 4000? will it blow the Sansui?

The "600 ohm impedance and 1000mW power output" spec is specifically referring to the headphone output. There's no reason you can't use the D1's preamp outputs into your Sansui 4000 without issue. Both sets of preamp outputs are variable, so you should be able to set a good level match to the 4000 as well.
