Carver hr 752 won't power on

One day the receiver powered itself off and now it will not power up. I tried looking for blown fuses and such, but the fuse is good. Any ideas what may be wrong with this? It had always been a great receiver and I'd like to still use it.

Try plugging it into a different outlet. Have you opened it up to check internal fuses? Have you taken off the bottom cover to check fuses?
 
I was only aware of the one fuse under the top cover. I'll look underneath the bottom to see if there is one. I did try plugging it into another outlet with no luck.

I may end up sending it out for repair. I bought it new and have the remote, owners manual, and brochure. I bought that along with a pair of Polk monitor 10s in 1991. Good system for the money.

What is it with wives and big speaker cabinets (LOL)!
