Your probably right on that knob. And from what I've read about this amp it is more than a fair price which is being asked for it.

I just wished I lived a little closer to Chi-Town. That or get over this audio addiction.

It's local to me... I used to live in Rogers Park. If the seller would meet me downtown, I'd ship it to you for cost+shipping. If you're not interested, what's its value with the missing knob? I might pick it up to sell... I've seen it both times, I'm just not interested in it for myself.

I would just want it because I think it is a very good price for this piece of audio equipment.

As for it's worth, it would be worth 80 bucks to me.

I don't want it... I've got gear out the ear, and HK is just "not my brand". I'd be happier to pick it up for someone who does. If it was very close, and would turn a decent profit, I'd snap it up, too, since I usually needs to sell gear to buy the gear I want. Since it's just a "fair price", I won't be chasing after it.
