This one's short and simple. I've auditioned a fair amount of them, but only bought a few...

'84: Phase Research Model R's - Large bookshelf speakers. Great find!

'91: American Acoustics - Large bookshelves for BR. Pretty much "low-fi".

'98: Polk RT16 small towers (Replaced crappy AA's in BR.)

'03: Second pair of PR's from E-Bay. ($38, and just needed refoam!!) Used as surrounds, then in bedroom. Polks now collecting dust.

------
Brother starts selling high-end gear again, so I get stuff on the cheap. (Didn't someone mention "speaker desire hell" or something like that? Well, here is my version...)
------

'04: B&W 5.1 surround set-up:
4 Nautilus 805's (bookshelf "baby nautili"),
HTM1 center,
some huge 1000W B&W sub. (Don't remember model number)

'05 B&W Nautilus '803's. Just drove 'em back to Denver from Michigan. (1300 hour drive!!) Still in box. Can't wait to check these babies out! Western Michigan / Indiana / Illinois freeways are in REALLY bad shape. Hopefully didn't do any damage.

I'm not sure whether to use the big 803's as the mains in my surround set-up and move the 805's to the BR 2-channel system, or use the 803's in the BR system, which I hope to eventually drive with McIntosh separates. The amps would match the 803's well, but the surround room has much better acoustics. On the other hand, my 5.1 controller and amps are all Rotel, which is decent, but not ideal for B&W's, IMO.

Panasonic Thrusters
Technic 3way (model?)
EPI T/E 100 II used in quad stereo with the above technics, ah my youth :)
Altec Lansing 2 way (can not remember model number)
Polk RT55 (getting into my mid 20's here) a great bookshelf! currently pulls surround duty in my theater system.
Bose 501 Mark V (what the eff was I thinking, 3 months, then back to the Polks. these pulled pro logic surround duty for a while though) given to the inlaws
Polk RTA12B (my first foray into vintage Polks) moved to my theater system for a while, sold them to a good friend
DIY frankenspeaker ( dont ask, was building a seperate 2 channel seperate from my theater at this time) use em for parties and stuff
Polk SDA 2B (Polk's SDA kicks arse, enuff said) sold
B&W DH550 (little bookshelf, wanted to give em a try, not bad, little bright though
B&W DM1400 Vintage B&W, silk dome tweet, not as bright as the DH550 great bass responce from a bookshelf!
Polk SDA 1B (cant go wrong just going bigger!) puuling game rig duty
Vandersteen 2B (sweet all around speaker, no SDA soundstage, but still sweet) still got em
Carver Platinum Amazing Mk IV currently main 2 channel speaks, they'll disintegrate before I get rid of em.

--------------------------
also, a pair of Polk LS90's in my theater, never used em for 2 channel, should give em a try. LOUD, you can NOT kill these.
