I have the Complete Sherlock -in paper form.

As do I. No batteries required.

IIRC the very last book written is still under copyright, and any "character aspects/developments" in it are still copyrighted. When the Supreme Court refused to hear the case that pretty much ended the attempts to keep cashing in on SH after more than 100 years.

I did forget to add that the last book is not covered in the ruling...

Thanks for the catch.

I read in paper as well and for those with digital readers at least they have a chance to enjoy.

Open culture is a great resource - I especially like the audiobooks...
