I have a nonvintage Marantz receiver which have tons of input and is ok for movies, but I dont like stereo output,
so I was thinking to connect my vintage integrated by the receiver tape out
this way front speakers will be connected to the integrated while surround and center to the receiver.
I tried that but the problem is that receiver digital inputs are not outputed to the tape out.
so is impossible to use receiver dac and output to integrated.
The only way I can do this is using the pre outs but this way I have 2 volume controls and maybe not such an audiophile choice,
any experience with this? Should I use the preouts or it doesn't worth. Im not in the budget for a power amplifier.
